Small and compact but packing a punch…

Magimix seem to have been reading the same interior design magazines as ourselves, as they have just launched the ‘Le Mini’ food processor in 9 bright and vivid colours, meaning there is now 11 different finishes to choose from. We told you earlier in the year that colour was going to be big for 2012, and it seems that manufactures agree.

The Magimix ‘Le Mini’ food processor is a small product designed for the chef who has limited space, but big culinary ideas and needs. It still accommodates most of the functions a larger version would, so there is no need for lots of different gadgets or gizmos cluttering up the work surface. This powerful mini food processor has attachments to mix, grate, slice, chop, whisk, knead and liquidise your ingredients, and with one speed and a pulse function it definitely won’t confuse even the most novice cook.

The ‘Le Mini’ has definitely been designed to be easy to use – it features an automatic motor, which cleverly varies in power intuitively, to suit whatever ingredients are being blended, and comes with 2 different sized bowls so it is possible to create very small quantities with out too much hassle. The BlenderMix attachment is ideal for finely blending soups, milkshakes and smoothies, and best of all – all the bowls and blades are dishwasher safe, so no stress when it comes to the washing up!

If you think that the  ‘Le Mini’ might be the appliance for you, all you need to do is choose your colour (the bit that I can’t do). How about hot pink? Vivid violet? Lime green? Or maybe even tangerine orange? Ooooh it’s tricky…

Visit our Magimix pages to view the entire food processor range from Micro choppers right through to a big food processor that will cater for 6. All come with a range of accessories, and if you get stuck choosing you can take a minute to check out the helpful food processor guide.

Remodelled KitchenAid blender

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

KitchenAid have decided to improve their blender models by adding a ‘culinary jar’ to them, and here at Go-Electrical we think that this is a brilliant idea. It means that the already fabulous Artisan blender is even better.

The Culinary Jar has a small capacity of 0.75l which is ideal for making single servings of smoothies or juices, and small recipes such as pestos and sauces. The blades of the blender are strong, sharp stainless steel which are perfect from crushing ice, and creating an even finish to smoothies, so no lumps.

The rest of the specification for the Kitchenaid blender has not changed from the previous models and is as follows;

*Die-cast metal base – robust, stable and built to last

*Large durable glass jug with unique shape, easy pouring and easy clean – 1.5L Capacity

*Powerful motor with intelli-speed control

*“Soft start” feature – starts slowly then quickly increases speed for clean blending

*Locking collar assembly keeps blades from rotating until pitcher is properly attached *Reliable and easy to handle

*Clean touch control pad integrated into a smooth rounded design – easy to clean

*Strong, durable and quiet operation

*Stay-put lid with ingredient cup – practical, steadfast, tight-fitting and functional

Mason Cash – well known and coming soon

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

Our catalog manager is always busy loading new, exciting products to the website, but we always get more excited when a new brand is going to be launched on Go-Electrical – and guess what, there is one heading your way shortly!

Mason Cash was established in the 1800’s and we are bringing the long established brand to our website very soon. Already a popular name in our retail shop, we decided we better share the famous bakeware with our online customers. We don’t want you missing out now, do we?

If you don’t recognise the name, you will be sure to recognise the classic cane mixing bowl, which has been used by generations of cooks – my grandmother uses one, and so does my mum, I think it is time I joined the clan of Mason Cash users! The timeless exterior design, and durability of the cane mixing bowl makes it an indispensable item for any cook. The signature cane bowl colouring (that is still used today) originally came from the natural colour of the clay in the Church Gresley area, but the iconic bowl is now available in different colours, such as red and blue.

You may also be familiar with the Mason Cash white pudding basin, which like the historic mixing bowl, is recognised all over the world. The Royal Christmas puddings are cooked in these simple but robust pudding basins – Mason Cash’s classic kitchenware is and has always been the choice of any discerning cook.

Keep an eye on our CookShop pages for the arrival of Mason Cash – expected in the New Year.

Well if you are anything like me you will have already purchased your winter wardrobe, but what about your home? I’ve selected some beautiful products above that will not only look nice in your home (check out the lovely autumnal colours), but will give you a reason to batten down the hatches and hole up for the winter months…That’s my plan anyway!

The Country Cookshop at Go-Electrical

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

Have you visited our Cookshop pages? You should really take a look, it won’t hurt…well it may hurt your bank balance!

In our Cookshop we sell big names such as Joseph Joseph, Hahn and Le Creuset plus lots more. There is everything from ovenware to utensils, chopping boards to pan racks, kitchen scales to oven mitts. You will find things you never knew you needed, and things you have always wanted but never got round to buying.

The Maxwell & Williams products are great. There are potato peelers, measuring spoons and lots of other useful utensils. They come in red and black, and are designed to be comfortable and easy to use and to lessen your preparation time in the kitchen. They also do oven proof dishes – perfect for cooking a nice crumble in for after your Sunday roast.

If cast iron cookware is more your thing, we have some great Cuisinart items, and if you want to spend a little more then look no further than the well-known Le Creuset range. It is available in a variety of colours, and any one would make a perfect wedding or anniversary present. Our colour of the moment is ‘Cerise’, a lovely red colour, but this could be because the ‘Heart’ casserole dish is available in this colour!

For traditional tableware look no further than Fairmont & Main – recognisable by their cute spot design and available in blue or red. The cake stand is a must-buy and the butter dish is very sweet. For the more modern, design driven of you out there, Alessi are always the go to brand for quirky, designer products (just take a look at the ‘Mr Chin’ egg cup) but if you aren’t so into the ‘out-there’ Alessi products, take a look at Joseph Joseph. Bright, colourful and extremely practical their products are fantastic, and we love the ‘Hands On’ salad bowls because they are great for summer BBQ’s – if the weather ever picks up that is!

So, do you want your kitchen to really live up to its full potential? (It is the centre of every home after all). Well if you do, you need to make sure you have the right tools, so go on, visit the Cookshop and see what’s on offer.
