Water becomes steam when heated to 97°C, only when heated to 120° or more under high pressure will water produce "neutral" steam that penetrates dirt in the form of a gas rather than a liquid, this enables it deep cleans that do away with bacteria, dust mites, germs and fungi. It cleans with the strength of steam alone, eliminating inhalation and contact with chemical cleaning products. With between 0-110g/min variable steam output the Polti Vaporetto is the ideal all round steam cleaner perfect for any type of carpet. Not only is it powerful but built safety is a big part of the Vaporetto 2400 with Polti's patented "No volt" system allows for steam to be switched off at the handle with no electrical connection.
