The Miele S5281 Allervac Sensor 5000 specially created for allergy sufferers, keeps households free from dust and allergens with its Allergotec floorhead with traffic light hygiene sensor.
The Miele S5281 Allervac Sensor 5000 offers power levels of between 330 and 2200 watts, and has a specially designed ergonomic handle.
The onboard accessories for the Miele S5281 Allervac Sensor 5000 include, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush and crevice nozzle, and the special sound insulation makes it particularly quiet with a new silence setting.
The Miele S5 range Air Clean Filter System provides an extremely efficient 12 stage filtration system.

Allergotec Sensor floorhead In response to growing demand for appliances that can make life easier for allergy sufferers, Miele, in conjunction with 'Deutsche Montan Technologie GmbH', one of Europes leading test institutes for air cleanliness, have developed a ne floorhead, which incorporates a hygiene sensor.

A sensor plate is fitted in the shaft above the floorhead. When vacuumed up, particles bounce off this sensor plate, and release elecrical charges. By measuring the frequency and intensity of these particle strikes, the microprocessor is able to gauge the concentration of small particle dust left in the carpet, and indicates this information, using a traffic light indicator, on the front of the floorhead. Red = Normal soiling levels. Amber = Low soiling levels. Green = Hygienically clean
