The brief: To develop a speaker stand that would be revolutionary in design and stunning in concept, whilst still retaining the sonic abilities associated with the Atacama Audio brand.
Atacama succeeded and developed the Aurora 6 speaker stands which do all of the above and more! The stands have a clear centre column which can be filled with practically anything so you can make the stand unique.
The design is certainly 'outside the box'. The column is made from a clear glass cylinder and the polished glass base plate is shaped like a tear drop. The top plate is 50% heavier than a Nexus top plate and the complete assembly is held together using a chrome torsion tube which runs the whole length of the stand and doubles as cable management allowing the speaker cable to be hidden inside.
