Pure Digital’s new Avanti Flow

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

The newly added Pure Digital Avanti Flow arrived into the Go-Electrical catalogue when it launched in Mid- December but we’ve been so busy over the Christmas period we’ve not had a chance to write about it.

This is definitely a table top radio as it is fairly big (nearly 40 cm wide). The Avanti Flow includes a DAB radio, FM radio and Internet Connectivity for wifi radio as well as being able to dock most iPods and iPod nanos.

The Avanti Flow includes Pure’s Clearsound technology. Clearsound is a digital end-to-end audio subsystem. Using high quality Class D amplifiers, digital audio shaping technology and custom-tuned speakers to provide clear dynamic sound.

As an all in one sound system the Avanti Flow has everything you need as well as looking slick and modern.
The Avanti Flow can also be registered with Pure Lounge, Pure’s radio and media portal. It includes access to internet radio stations, networked audio content and Pure Sounds. With access to radio across the Internet the possibilities are endless so Pure Lounge provides a good place to start and will help keep it all organised.

If you’ve got an Avanti Flow we’d love to know what you think?

Stunning looks and sounds, welcome the new Pure Digital Evoke Mio

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

We added the Evoke Mio to our site following Pure Digital’s launch in mid December. The Evoke Mio is a portable radio with 1950’s retro style. Underneath the retro look is a actually Pure Digital’s awarding winning Evoke-1S.

We really like this new Evoke Mio as  it is the first Pure radio to come with a rechargeable battery (Charge PAK), you’ve always had to buy is separately in the past. Pure says you’ll get 24 hours from a single charge so it does means you can easily move this radio around the house and use it without trailing cables although you probably wouldn’t take this radio out and about as it isn’t particularly small.

The Evoke Mio is available in a range of colours including Green (Moss), Red (Chilli), Brown (Chocolate), Pink (Candy) and Black (Midnight) in a gorgeous two tone leather and suede effect outer.

The Evoke Mio comes packed with features too, an input for your iPod/MP3 player, Intellitext® and textSCAN™ for pausing and controlling scrolling text and storing information for browsing at a later date.

It also comes with an FM tuner with RDS, a striking new auto-dimming OLED (Organic LED) display, an alarm function so you can wake up to the radio, a kitchen timer and a USB connector for future product upgrades.

Evoke Mio has been approved by the Energy Savings Trust so can be included in Pure’s EcoPlus range. This means it has reduced power consumption and comes in packaging materials made from recycled and sustainable resources.

So far the Evoke Mio has been a hit with the team here and the feedback from customers so far has been good. We’re looking forward to seeing the first product reviews come through. If you’ve got one we’d love what you think.
