Bugatti kitchen appliances are here!

Thursday, May 2nd, 2013

It may sound odd, but the newest brand to arrive on site is Bugatti. Yes, the very same Bugatti that manufacture the world famous cars.

Bugatti is a family run company and it was started in 1923. Initially producing cutlery and kitchen utensils all the products were handmade, but in 1926 they introduced a die-casting machine to the factory. Since then, Bugatti has become known as a luxurious and stylish brand – something that people around the world aspire to own; and now you can…

Bugatti Vera kettles have adjustable settings so you can get the perfect temperature for herbal teas and blended coffees whilst the Bugatti Volo toasters feature built-in warming racks and handy cages to make toasted sandwiches. If you have been searching high and low for a modern looking blender of coffee machine then look no further!

Take a look at the unique range of kitchen appliances which we now have available on the Go-Electrical website. The Vera Kettle, Volo toaster, Vela blender and Diva espresso machine are all available in a vibrant selection of colours and prices start from £170.00.

New KitchenAid products now available

Wednesday, April 24th, 2013

The day the news came through that there were some new KitchenAid products in the pipeline, we got very excited here in the Go-Electrical office. Then when we got the information through about the new products and saw the photographs, we got even more excited. So you can imagine what kind of state we were in when we were told the expected delivery date of some of these new products – excited doesn’t come close.

We’ve calmed down enough now to tell you all about these great new products, so let’s start with the products that are available to purchase now. Say hello to the KitchenAid Artisan 1.5 litre kettle and the KitchenAid Artisan two-slot toaster.

Designed in the same style as the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer, the new toasters and kettles have a unique look. Both will be available in six different colours (Empire Red, Onyx Black, Almond Cream, Medallion Silver, Candy Apple and Frosted Pearl) and they are the perfect addition to any stylish home.  The kettles are built with a dual wall construction which means that the water inside stays hotter for longer, that the noise whilst in use is quieter than normal and that the outside of the kettle is cooler to the touch making it safer if children are around.

The best thing about the kettle though is that it can heat water to different temperatures. Select a temperature between 50°C and 100°C (perfect for people who enjoy different blends and types of teas) and then watch the gauge on the outside of the kettle go up. This gauge will work even when the kettle is off its base, so you know whether you need to re-boil it, or not, if you have forgotten someone’s cup of tea.

The two-slot toaster looks brilliant sat next to the kettle, and it doesn’t just look good. This toaster has an automatic inner cage which lowers and lifts the bread/toast, and it has a keep-warm function – we all know how annoying it is when your toast pops and you don’t get to it quick enough for the butter to melt.  The toaster also has seven shade settings so your toast is the perfect shade of golden brown (or dark brown if that’s what you like), and there are LED lights which countdown to when the toast is ready.

If you enjoy eating bagels for breakfast then this toaster is for you, as there is a bagel/bun function which toasts only on one side, but heats the other. There is a function to thaw and toast frozen breads, and there is also a sandwich setting which is used with the included sandwich cage to make great, tasty toasties.

Really, if you need a new matching toaster and kettle then you should seriously consider the KitchenAid Artisan products. Maybe you don’t need these two appliances though – Well don’t worry because as I mentioned to start, there are more new products on the way. New blender, food processor or chopper anyone?

The new KitchenAid Artisan food processors will be available in three sizes – 2.1 litre, 3.1 litre and 4 litre. The 2.1 litre food processor (5KFP0925) will be available in four colours and has been designed with small kitchens in mind. It may be compact, but KitchenAid haven’t compromised on the features. There is the ’ExactSlice’ system which consists of a manually adjustable slicing disc, 3-in-1 wide feed tube, uniquely-designed sharp blades, two speeds and a pulse. Team this with a main 2.1 litre bowl and a 710ml mini-bowl, and you have a brilliantly small, but efficient, food processor.

The 3.1 litre food processor (5KFP1335) will also be available in four colour options, and has the same features as the 2.1 litre, except that the adjustable slicing disc has an external lever so it can be easily adjusted. The standard bowls are 3.1 litre and 950ml capacity.

The 4 litre food processor (5KFP1644) will be available in six colour options and really is a food processor for every task – slicing, cubing, chopping, mixing, whipping and more. It has been awarded the ‘Initiative LifeCare’ award for ‘Kitchen Innovation Product of the Year 2013’. Like the other two models, this food processor features the ‘ExactSlice’ system, but also features the following;

*Die-cast metal body – making it extremely robust and stable

*Induction motor – reliable, powerful and quiet

*Three bowls – 4 litre, 2.4 litre and 1 litre

*Storage case

*Dicing kit – produces perfect cubes of fruit or vegetables.

If a food processor isn’t quite what you are after, then how about the new KitchenAid Chopper (5KFC3515). Available in three colours, this compact appliance is perfect for preparing sauces and dips. Team the 830ml bowl, with one touch operation, two speeds and a ‘liquid adder lid’, and you get a great little appliance perfect for any kitchen.

KitchenAid have long manufactured jug blenders, but here the UK we have always missed out on the hand blenders that the USA has been lucky enough to have. Well now that’s all changed – there is now a cordless handblender which is available with or without accessories (5KHB3583 or 5KHB3581), and a corded 5-speed hand blender (5KHB2571). This corded blender will be available in four colours and comes with three interchangeable bell blades, a 1 litre jug, a chopping bowl, stainless steel arms (20cm and 33cm), whisk attachment and a storage case.

So, if any of the above sounds interesting, or you are just really nosey and want to see more, then keep an eye on our KitchenAid pages for the arrival of these new products. The two-slice toaster and kettle are already available so get yours now!

Hands together to welcome…Graef

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Another addition to the Go-Electrical website is Graef, a high-quality, German made brand that uses “innovation, durability and dependability” as their guiding principles. Graef have been manufacturing user-friendly products for over 50 years and are famous for their range of domestic and commercial meat slicers.

Here at Go-Electrical we have the range of toasters and kettles available for purchase, and coming soon will be other small appliances, such as coffee machines, milk frothers and slicers, to bring a little bit of German reliability to your home. All have are expertly engineered, and are sleek and modern in design.

The Graef TO90UK two slice long toaster recently scored 76% in a Which? Best Buy report. Which? tested the toaster and have awarded it with a Best Buy award because it “ fits a wide range of bread sizes, it’s easy to use, browns most of the slice and browns to a good level”. The Pros of the toaster were listed as; “Very stylish, simple to use, good choice for toasting one slice of bread”. We have to agree with Which? and say that this toaster is incredibly simple, and produces a decent slice of toast.

The toasters are available in a two slice long version (which means there is one long slot), or a two slice short toaster (two short slots), and they are available in White or Brushed Stainless Steel. The kettles, which have won an ‘Plus X award for Design’ are available in four different finishes; White, Black, Polished Stainless Steel and Brushed Stainless Steel. They are incredibly striking as the spout of the kettle comes out of the main body at what looks like a 90˚ angle.

If you like the sound of Graef, visit Go-Electrical and see if you fancy one of their toasters or kettles…or keep your eyes peeled for further new additions.

Go-Electrical & Dualit

Thursday, March 17th, 2011

Go-Electrical is one of the biggest independent retailers of Dualit in the UK, and our warehouse is packed with Dualit stock. We love Dualit!

Dualit have been at the foreground of the consumer market since the late 1970’s, but have been around a lot longer than that. The first flip-sided toaster was made in 1946 and the brand steadily grew through the 1950s and 60s. Throughout the decades, the brand has remained true to founder, Max Gort-Barten’s original vision, and today Dualit provides a range of quality kitchen appliances.

The Dualit toaster is a design icon. From the Vario to the Combi and Bun toaster models, they all share the same timeless styling, reliability and Dualit design features. Dualit toasters are still built by hand in the UK, with the assembler’s stamp on every base plate, and every part is replaceable, meaning that a toaster could be in your household for years and years and years. The perfect wedding present maybe?

We love the range of colours that these classic toasters are available in. From Glacier blue to Azure blue, Mint green to Lime green and Petal pink to Chilli pink there is one to suit every kitchen. If you are after a more understated look then you can choose from the traditional white, cream, black and chrome. Personally I’m a fan of the red – it just looks amazing in my monochrome kitchen!

It’s a lot bigger than toast though. Dualit now have a wide range of kitchen appliances to help you get the most out of your kitchen – it is the hub of the home after all. We love the Dualit Espressivo coffee machine because of its compact size, stylish look and great performance. It may look like a complex appliance, but it is really simple which means it isn’t a lot of effort making delicious coffee before rushing off to work in a morning. The 1.5 litre tank holds enough water for 50 standard espresso shots, and the Thermobloc technology means that hot water and steam is available after just 40 seconds from switch on. Here at Go-Electrical we have the Espressivo available in three fabulous colours – Chrome, Black and Red, perfect for country kitchen or city pad.

Other appliances that we love are all fabulously stylish and extremely reliable and robust. The new XL1500 food processor is great – it is easy to use with 3 different capacity bowls, nine different tools for chopping, mixing, slicing and shredding and a dough blade for pastry and bread making. Perfect for all your cooking and baking needs. The Dualit juice extractor is also an excellent piece of kit – it produces pure juice without froth and the extra capacity pulp container and juice jug allow for continuous juicing. It has a nice large feed tube too, which means less chopping!

Dualit 2 Slice Toaster Review

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

Here it is the debut Go-Electrical video review the first of hopefully many more to come!

New Dualit Lite Toaster

Friday, April 30th, 2010

At long last Dualit have got round to releasing a red version of their highly successful 2 slice lite series. Featuring all the functions that have made the black and cream immensely succesful you can gurantee some brilliant toast.

Peek and Pop, bagel function and defrost all come as standard giving you a fantastic morning snack.

Following Dualit’s trend of putting the Lite toaster in high gloss finish the 26201 is no exception it looks brilliant!

Product Of The Week

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

This is the first and hopefully of many Editor’s product of the week and to start of it is an old favourite the Dualit Lite 4 slot toaster!

Released late last year in addition the rest of the highly successful 4 and 2 slice range. The first major difference you will now notice is the fact it has 4 individual slots instead of 2 big slots. Personally I much prefer this as it does look a lot nicer and a lot better when sat on your counter.

Like all the other Lite toasters it has Peek and Pop function which is a welcome addition, basically it allows for you to bring up your toast to see if it’s done without disturbing your current programme and avoiding burnt toast.

A new bagel function is a great addition meaning perfect bagels in the morning, crisp on the outside, warm and soft on the inside ideal for spreading cream cheese on as a morning snack.

Another notable change is the conversion from soft touch rubber which personally I loved but countless people hated and now the toaster is encased in a sublime glossy finish making it look like one of the more expensive Dualit vario models.

As with all Dualit products different colours come as standard, with the Lite toasters it comes in black, cream and red which isn’t as extensive a range as the Vario is still a good selection.

I would highly recommend the 4 slot Lite toaster to anyone wanting a great value, easy to use Dualit product.

Check back next week to see what my product of the week will be!

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010
