The KitchenAid 5KSM1APC spiralizer for stand mixers is very easy to use. Simply fix the spiralizer attachment to the hub of the stand mixer to peel, core, and slice.
Spiralizers or spiral vegetable slicers can be used to peel, core and slice fruit and vegetables, like; courgettes, sweet potatoes, daikon, cucumbers, parsnips, carrots, apples, pears, and beetroots, into ribbons or a strand similar to spaghetti, a great low carb alternative to pasta or noodles.
The KitchenAid spiralizer 5KSM1APC is very versatile, and will produce nine combinations of spiralizing, slicing, peeling and coring. Spiralize, fine or thick noodles; spiralize, fine or thick noodles and peel; small core/large core (apple) and spiral slice; peel and core (small or large) and spiral slice; and peel.
